Pathos is an ever-growing game with a large development team working behind the scenes to maintain it. The Manufacturing Department is credited with getting Pathos to where It is today. This page contains all news about the Manufacturing Department and the development of Pathos.
OUR MISSION
The mission of the Manufacturing Department being two fold, create, and revolutionize the experience that countless individuals participate, enjoy and conquer on a daily basis. We thrive towards releasing the best content imaginable on the platform, for all of our members alike to enjoy. Unfortunately, due to the secrecy of what we do in the Manufacturing Department, and to prevent eyes on updates that are unfinalized, most of the information and internal doings of the Manufacturing Department is highly classified.

Omicron Cell Block ("CB") Changes
CB Lights will now automatically turn on and off during sleep
Class Ds can now open non-locked down Cell Doors
Cell Doors will close (not lockdown) automatically during sleep
Cell Lockdowns still need to be done manually, but will be automatically unlocked if there is no active site protocol aside from Yellow Ember or Blue Sky
Tweaked SCP-207 to do less damage, but also be unstable for a short time instead of being instantly faster

Pathos has a bright and ever-evolving future; the development team is excited to be able to share its plans and projects with the community constantly!
Medical Department Revamp
Coming September 2024, the Medical Department will be able to explore its new medical center, checkup-related minigames, and various other improvements! In addition, EMS will be introduced to Pathos!
Inventory System Revamp
Coming late September 2024, players will get to experience the all-new and innovative backpack system! This system will introduce a backpack that stores items, looting of vehicle trunks, and the ability to store items in trunks and open containers! Additionally, this system will introduce some quality-of-life features, such as multi-use tools in which one slot can hold multiple items. This will also allow for the picking up of various new loadout attachments.

The Manufacturing Department is always looking for experienced, and aspiring individuals who are interested in joining our development team. We offer competitive pay, alongside a wonderful work environment filled with individuals who are experienced in their designated fields. There is never a dull moment if our department, if you are interested, reach out to an Executive Assistant or a Manufacturing Department Secretary with your portfolio.

Builder
Builders are the people who help tie the game together. They do their part in designing & creating areas of the game that see daily use by the player base. Builders are the people who really help sell the design and gameplay of pathos; Their work can range from designing to creating key areas of the Pathos experience.
Programmer
Programmers come in many forms, Pathos is always looking to onboard highly experienced and knowledgeable programmers in either luau, or any alternate programming language used in website or system engineering.
Visual Effects
Visual Effects Artists are a highly valued asset to Pathos. We use VFX on most of our SCPs and guns. VFX artists are expected to be able to use ROBLOX Studio's particle systems and be familiar with visual design.
Modeling
Modelers are the people who make help give the game life, creating a variety of assets, from cars, to guns, from doors to cups, modelers play a vital role in making the game look and feel good. Modelers work to create various assets for the game ranging from the smallest of assets such as cups, to the most used assets such as cars. They are a vital part in making pathos look and run as good as it does.
Animation
Pathos is always looking for Animators familiar with the ROBLOX character rig, as well as custom rigs created by our SCP modelers.
Composer
Composers come in many forms, Pathos is always seeking out talented composers, voice actors or SFX artists to join our team, and create exceptional soundtracks, music, ambiances, or sound effects for our game.
Graphic Design
Graphic Designers are in high demand and are expected to be familiar with creating visual advertisements for our group and its sub-groups.
Generalist
Generalists are familiar in several areas of Pathos, from scripting to building; Generalists are expected to help in any area they may be needed.
Game Design
Game Designers set the future of Pathos, creating unique and innovative systems we can implement into the game. We expect plentiful amounts of experience in game design in all applicants.
UI Design
UI Designers are skilled graphical artists familiar with extensive expertise in the ROBLOX Studio UI systems, alongside the navigation interface. Designers are adept in creating intuitive and visually appealing interfaces that enhance the user experience of players.
Tailor
Tailors are exceptional designers who create exceptional clothing we can sell both on our group, and feature in-game.
Quality Assurance
Quality Assurance testers are responsible for ensuring all changes introduced to Pathos are functional and enjoyable for the players.
